If you try and do a more significant cut/trim in one go, you will overload the vacuum chamber, to the point where clippings will fall out when you invert the trimmer. But stick to that one simple rule, and you can keep your hair and beard trimmed without a clipping in sight. The only thing I do not like, is where the vacuum exhaust is. It's right where you would naturally want to hold the trimmer while using it as hair clippers. There is only one comb or clip that is supplied and this is adjusted by pressing a button on the comb itself to your desired hair length and setting. The only problem with this product is that the actual suction power is in my opinion not strong enough so only around 60% of your cut hairs would go into the actual vacuum chamber whilst the remaining 40% of your cut hairs would just fall on the floor and have to be swept up later, which can be quite annoying. I am glad that I did because I feel it works really well, including the vacuum collection feature. The instructions claim that it collects up to 95% of clippings if the 6mm length is selected. That is the length that I currently use and I would say the claim is pretty accurate, with only a very few stray clippings falling into the sink. The main cutting head is about 3 cm wide (the unit itself only slightly wider), but you also get a separate detail head included which is 2 cm wide. The comb attachment works well enough and offers cutting lengths of 2,3,4,5,6,8,10,12,16 & 18 mm. It doesn't take too long to charge and seems to last for the claimed hour of cordless use.
