Meanwhile, unlike other containers which I used to have, the lids could be open and close smoothly. I really wanted to like these containers! I stack them for storage in a roomy drawer and the top edges of the openings chip, leaving chips and dust-like particles of glass everywhere! This is so disappointing. I was not being rough when stacking them and didn't notice the chipping until I would go to take them out of the spacious drawer they were in. At first, I thought it was my fault when I saw one chipped but they all started to chip and it got worse and worse. This review is months after my purchase but the glass was chipping from the beginning.
