A: There is really no a minimum age if is use with adult supervision. The smallest that the belt can get is about 28 inches around the waist.

A: We use this to increase leg drive will pulling from the back and for front leg resistance when pulling from the front.  Love this product.

I’m not an athlete, not using this device the way others do. I have been in physical therapy for almost a year after degenerative disk disease reached a crisis. Two doctors and one physical therapist said there was nothing they could do for me, that I needed surgery. Fortunately, I am stubborn, and I found a really good therapist who took me from completely disabled to functioning pretty normally, able to go back to work full time and just taking Tylenol a couple times a day. No surgery! One of the exercises that has been very beneficial is side-stepping with resistance, but I couldn’t figure out a way to repeat the exercises at home. This device is exactly what I was looking for, and will help me graduate from PT to just working out at home. The resistance is a bit more than at PT, but I just don’t stretch it as far; however, I know from experience that I will continue to strengthen with the added resistance. I just wrap one end around a doorknob and shut the door and away I go!
