The two Black books were recently purchase and they compliment each other rather well. I very much look forward to using them during 2025. The pens stainless steel nib, combined with the Tungsten Carbide Ball, creates a fine writing line, the rich black ink is fast drying, the pens write smoothly, they are comfortable to hold, are light in weight and slim in body. They are good for taking notes, daily diary entries and general writing. The ink in each pen lasts a considerably amount of time, measured in days. The pen's window allows you to see how much ink is left in the tube, so as to avoid running out of ink while writing. The type of paper, in a notebook and/or diary, matters a great deal and you should keep this in mind before you make a purchase.
