It is feature-loaded with a magnetic nail set, nail puller, and high-traction grip. Made with a smooth face. From the Manufacturer 18-Inch 22-Ounce Smooth Face steel hammer - our "tuning fork" design eliminates most vibration before it gets to the handle. We took our original nail set idea and turned it upside down to provide better accuracy and safety. A unique front of head nail pull with incredible shaft strength

Review: Nice balance and feel - Balanced, light weight feel. Long handled so there is lots of drive power. Also have a rough face verison of this hammer but there are time when I don't want the face marks to show, so I brought the smooth face for those times. Only shortcoming I have found is you cannot pull on a nail sideway (carpenter's trick) because it will bend the handle. Excellent parallel strength but weak laterial strength. Great hammer just need to know this one limitation.

**Q: Does this hammer work for pulling out stakes for forming**
A: It's a hammer. Hit the stake side to side to loosen then pull the stake. A stake puller for metal stakes is a different tool.

Also have a rough face verison of this hammer but there are time when I don't want the face marks to show, so I brought the smooth face for those times. Only shortcoming I have found is you cannot pull on a nail sideway (carpenter's trick) because it will bend the handle. Excellent parallel strength but weak laterial strength. Great hammer just need to know this one limitation.
