It uses a low 25-watt power draw with a built-in thermostat to maintain your cat’s body temperature, ensuring warmth even in freezing conditions. Featuring chew-resistant steel-encased cords, rounded edges, and secure mounting holes, it’s engineered for durability and safety. Certified by MET Labs and backed by over 20 years of K&H expertise, this pad is the ultimate energy-efficient solution to keep your small outdoor cats comfortable year-round. ## Description The Extreme Weather Kitty Pad Petite outdoor heated kitty pad is an essential source of warmth for any cat that spends time out doors. Its internal thermostat keeps the surface nice and warm even in the coldest of temperatures. Place in a shed, garage, barn or anywhere your outdoor kitties spend time. Only 25 watts is all that’s needed to keep the indoor or outdoor pet warm and comfy even in the coldest of climates. We’ve cleverly rounded all the edges to take away a chewing surface and even capped the cord entrance and the first 18” of the power cord with steel. Holes in the 4 corners of the pad are the perfect anchor points to keep the pad in place. Screws can be used to anchor the pad on wood surfaces or wired in place for wire floored cages. One year limited warranty. This outdoor heated cat bed has been tested & certified by MET Labs to exceed USA/CA electrical safety standards. Measures 9 X 12 inches and uses 25 watts. ## Features - Outdoor heated pet mat measures 9 X 12 inches and can be used indoors, and fleece covers are available for comfort (sold separately) - Thermostatically controlled to automatically respond to temperature changes to warm to your pet's normal body temperature - Chew resistant features like steel encased cord, pre-drilled screw holes, rounded edges - Ideal for sheds, garages, barns, or any sheltered area your outdoor cats hang out - Using only 25 Watts, this heated cat mat has been tested & certified by MET Labs to exceed USA/CA electrical safety standards - One-year limited warranty - BRAND YOU TRUST: Designed by K&H with OVER 20 years of experience in creating innovative, quality products ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B00YGZ7NKK | | Brand Name | K&H Pet Products | | Breed Recommendation | Small | | Color | Tan | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (1,658) 4.6 out of 5 stars | | Dog Breed Size | Small | | Fill Material | Foam | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00655199030606, 10655199030603 | | Included Components | K&H Pet Products Heated Extreme Weather Outdoor Kitty Pad Petite, Waterproof Heated Cat Mat, Pet Warmer for Outside Feral Cat Houses, Indoor Outdoor Warming Pet Mat - Petite 12 X 9in Tan 25W | | Item Dimensions L X W X Thickness | 30.5L x 22.9W x 2.5Th centimeters | | Item Form | Pad | | Item Shape | Rectangular | | Item Type Name | K&H Pet Products Heated Extreme Weather Kitty Pad Petite Outdoor Heated Animal Pad | | Manufacturer | Central Garden & Pet | | Manufacturer Part Number | 100213040 | | Material Type | Plastic | | Maximum Weight Recommendation | 11.34 kg | | Model Number | 100213040 | | Other Special Features Of The Product | Heating, cat houses for outdoor cats, insulated cat house outdoor, k h cat house, k&h pet products, outdoor cat house, outdoor cat houses for winter, outdoor cat shelter, outside cat houses for winter | | Pattern | Solid | | Pet Type | Cat | | Product Benefits | Keeps outdoor cats warm, durable & energy efficient, safe & easy to install | | Product Care Instructions | Heated pad can be wiped with damp cloth, allow to dry completely before use. | | Recommended Uses For Product | Outdoor | | Size | 12.0"L x 9.0"W x 1.0"Th | | Target Species | Cat | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Upc | 655199030606 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** K&H Pet Products - **Breed recommendation:** Small - **Material:** Plastic - **Product dimensions:** 30.5L x 22.9W x 2.5Th centimeters ## Images ![Extreme Weather Outdoor Kitty Pad, Heated, For Indoor and Outdoor Use Tan Petite 9 X 12 Inches 25W - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71E0YQjlLHL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Are there any outdoor heated cats shelters with electrical cords longer than 5 ft or a cord that you can use with an extension cord?** A: All K&H outdoor heated beds/pads have a 5'.5" cord. MET requires that all electrical products include the statement “Do not use with extension cord” on every item that is MET listed by UL 499 standards. One reason for this is because they cannot test every extension cord on the market in conjunction with your specific situation. Also, MET suggests that an extension cord is not recommended as a permanent fixture and should only be a temporary solution when using any electrical product. Temporary use of a UL or MET safety listed cord is fine, but please consult your electrician for the proper cord for your application. For more information on MET safety testing please visit their website at www.metlabs.com or the UL website at www.ul.com. If we can be of further assistance please feel free to contact us 1-877-738-5188. **Q: what is the diameter of the cord? i'd like to drill the shelter prior to delivery** A: The widest part of the cord of the K&H Extreme Weather Kitty Pad Petite would be the plug which measures 1". **Q: How big is the pad?** A: Big enough for a 10 pound cat **Q: Can this heated kitty pad be used in a Styrofoam inside of plastic shelter?** A: You could line the Styrofoam with reflective insulation first and then put the pad on it with a little straw in between ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well cats like it *by on Reviewed in Canada 7 June 2026* Works well and good inside an outdoor feral cat house that protects the pad from the elements ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Safe, economical, and WARM.. what could be better? We LOVE this!! *by on Reviewed in the United States 12 December 2025* This is the first rigid pet heating pad we have had and we are very impressed. K&H is the ONLY brand we trust for warming our outdoor rescues and we bought this to give additional heat in a larger shelter when the temps drop sub zero. I don’t doubt this could be used to lie on, but because it’s stiff, we chose it specifically to use vertically on one wall and could immediately feel the difference. It’s not too thick and it’s very durable. Nice small size adds extra heat with little power consumption. We love that it’s a nice warm neutral color, perfect pick!!The only way this could be better is if it were a two pack! Thank you K&H for continuing to deliver safe and trustworthy heat for our friends. We regularly tell others yours is THE brand to buy. You have our anppre and allegiance. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excelente *by on Reviewed in Mexico 10 January 2019* Excelente producto, mi gatita no sintió el invierno! Se puede dejar conectado todo el tiempo sin ningún riesgo. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/557129159-extreme-weather-outdoor-kitty-pad-heated-for-indoor-and-outdoor](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/557129159-extreme-weather-outdoor-kitty-pad-heated-for-indoor-and-outdoor) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-11-05*
