Review: I feel so old but I don't care. Works great. - Break out the old man tools! Nah, I got poor vision anyway, THIS is what I like for sweeping across prints and finding stuff quickly. Cheap, if you're squinting...just stop. I'll take a bigger one, too. This one is kinda "just right". I see the reviews are linked together regardless of size, ordered the larger one, and if you have the table space, definately get the bigger one. The smaller one is fine, and perfect if you go from job to job alot, but if you're on a long project with your own print table, spend the twenty bux. Clairity is great, it says 6x, these all seem to magnify the same. Enough. Pull it away from the surface if you really wanna see close.

A: Plastic

**Q: Is this made with genuine glass, or does “Acryliy” mean acrylic or “K2 glass” (plastic)? Thx!**
A: It is "plastic" The note on the box says, "Shatterproof acrylic construction with 6x power pre-focused lens and a 2.5 inch viewing area." I really like it. It has a 5/8" raised side that focuses light onto the subject. I use it to read small details on construction documents.

**Q: where made?**
A: "Shipped by Amazon" "Sold by Tong'an" listed below Add to Cart on the right side of the Amazon description.  Tong'an must know "where made".

**Q: Exact Diameter? 3" or 2" or what?**
A: Like it says in the description online, it is 2.5" in diameter.

This is a MUST have for any charting. I am taking Mariner classes to become a licensed Skipper, but my old eyes need magnification and the quality of this dome is perfect. It is an excellent paperweight while not using it for magnification. Definitely better than trying to find my reader glasses and probably won't break like my glasses either!
