It looks really expensive both inside and out. It has a lovely glossy finish on the outside. The key has a red tassel and a leather case, this attention to detail makes it look far more expensive than it actually was. The programme control inside is chrome (or similar metal!) and clicks firmly into place so you can't switch it off accidentally. The motor is as quiet as it says in the description! I have it in my bedroom and I have never heard it. I originally bought a similar unit which was cheaper but looked exactly the same in the picture, and although it did the job it had no adapter and was not of the same quality as this one.
