I have a bucketful of cheap angle grinders so that I dont have to keep swapping tools, but an incident with a cup brush and my stomach/tshirt made me take note of the fact that many of my grinders have latching on/off switches. If a grinder escapes your grip, they are too exciting if the switch is latched in the on position. They can leap around like an old jumping jack firework until they get something or you dare unplug it.This one has a nice long non-latching switch, that you tend to switch on just by gripping the grinder. Let go and the switch returns to the off position leaving only inertia to deal with if dropped.The motor seems very smooth, and the gearbox also. After half a day of near continuous sanding, the motor and gearbox were still not hot.
