I have medium curly red hair and i hooked up my conair dryer to it and well in about 30 mins my hair was soft and dry no friz. It did get a bit hot on my medium setting but that the dryer not the head piece. The head piece has a nice long tail from the dryer so i can put on a table. Im very happy. I almost bought a dryer plus softcap but they all had crappy ratings. But this i took a chance on and well it worked great and i was worried it might melt with my dryer but it didnt get hot around the heat element. It is also well made and durable. I have alot of thick hair nad it took all of it. This was a awesome buy i use it now 3 times a week and sit and watch tv as it drys my hair im not a frizz ball.

I was unsure about this from reviews, but I found it quite easy to use after a couple of tries. Dries my wavy hair almost all the way in about 15 minutes. I do change the dryer from hot to cool periodically or it does get pretty hot. This works well for me. I like it way better than the diffuser I'd been using. Takes us less room/weight than the diffuser too for traveling.
