It is actually gently filing my nail surface to remove old colours or coats and pushing my cuticles to be neat . It is amusing me and seems to be a hygienic practice to do this on my nails. I have naturally oval nails by birth and effortless to cut my nails. I never felt the needs or meaning for the cuticles cares much . It even looked initially damaging or hurting nails to my eyes . But now I see , much more healthier shiny nail surface I can get . My nails never got so much attention. Warm water soaking till disinfection . And I find quite relaxing to use this tool. You will get satisfaction if not done before. Some finger had more cuticles than others . Overall hand health and hygiene got much better . Very much pleased with my purchase.
