He was reluctant but initially agreeable. The delivery was delayed a few days, by which time the deck was already started, the builder's technique of screwing/rescrewing 2x6 boards into the joists (through joist tape) against which he either pulled or pushed curved boards with clamps was working well, and he was no longer interested in trying anything new. I cancelled (I thought) the already shipped order through desertcart's phone support. We refused delivery when UPS arrived with it anyway, but they circled back the next day and left it on our steps. So ... I opened it and showed our builder how to use it. We worked together the last day and finished the deck using clamps only when a second point of fixation was necessary. He liked the wrench so much, I gave it to him. I have used a few variants of different designs. This is the only one the works on installing vertical wall boards. Since the 2x4s are on the face, you have to have a 3 1/2 inch opening for the board bender to work. Plus it’s made in America.
