All the skewers were uniform in size, with no bent, broken, or extra thin ones mixed in — which is a big improvement compared to other brands I’ve tried. On top of that, I also use these as stems for my pipe cleaner flowers when I’m crafting, and they work brilliantly for that too. I've only ever used these for grilling chicken shawarma under an oven grill, and they've been just the job. They're flat on one side and curved on the other so excellent for being able to turn your meat or veg to get both sides cooked. Nothing more frustrating than turning a skewer only to find it turns around inside whatever you're cooking and doesn't easily let you turn the meat over. Remarkably solid, especially for the price (*) and a soak in hot, soapy water cleans them up a treat. (*) Came here to post this and at the time of writing they are only £1.87 for 4, about half what I paid for them, so a terrific bargain.
