The 8 fl oz instructions are based on an average 400-gallon hot tub. For larger hot tubs and swim spas, simply calculate the amount based on total water capacity. **Q: How does Oh Yuk help support hot tub chemical performance?** A: Buildup inside jets and plumbing can trap oils, grime, and organic residue, making water harder to maintain. Oh Yuk helps flush that hidden buildup so your regular hot tub chemicals can work more effectively in a cleaner system. **Q: Why do I see gunk or scum after using the cleaner?** A: Oh Yuk circulates through the system, it can loosen hidden residue from the plumbing and jet lines. You may see material appear in the water, foam or around the spa. **Q: Can I use Oh Yuk Hot Tub Cleaner in inflatable hot tubs, in-ground spas, or swim spas?** A: Yes. Oh Yuk Hot Tub Cleaner can be used for inflatable hot tubs, in-ground hot tubs, jetted spas, and swim spas. Choose the bottle size based on your spa’s water capacity and use 2 fl oz per 100 gallons of water. **Q: How do I clean scum rings and residue that appear after flushing my hot tub?** A: After draining, use Oh Yuk Hot Tub Surface Cleaner to remove scum, oils, and grime. It cuts buildup easily and helps protect your hot tub surface from UV exposure. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great *by N***G on 3 April 2026* Must have product ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ hot tub beautifully clean. *by R***N on 24 May 2018* A very odd name but but it does exactly what it says it will do... hot tub beautifully clean. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Yes—this cleaner absolutely met my expectations. *by H***R on 5 May 2026* Oh Yuk Healthy Hot Tub Cleaner does exactly what it promises and then some. After running it through my hot tub, I was honestly surprised (and a little grossed out) by how much hidden buildup it flushed out of the plumbing. It’s clear this product goes deeper than what you can see on the surface, which gives me peace of mind knowing my spa is actually clean—not just looking clean. The process was simple: pour it in, run the jets, and drain. No complicated steps or harsh chemical smell, which I really appreciated. It worked well for both indoor and outdoor use, and I noticed a big difference in water clarity and overall freshness afterward. The 16 oz bottle is a good value considering how effective it is, and a little goes a long way. I also like that it’s formulated to be a healthier option compared to some heavy-duty chemical cleaners. Overall, this is a must-have for routine hot tub maintenance. If you want a deep, reliable clean that keeps your spa running efficiently and feeling fresh, this product is definitely worth it. ## Frequently Bought Together - Oh Yuk Healthy Hot Tub Cleaner, The Most Effective Hot Tub Cleaner for Indoor and Outdoor Hot Tubs and Spas - 16 Ounces - HTH Spa 86123 Filter Cleaner, Spa & Hot Tub Chemical Deep Cleans Filter, Extends Filter Life, 16 oz - EASYTEST 9-Way Pool Test Strips, 140 Strips for Hot tub and Spa, Accurate Testing pH, Total Chlorine, Free Chlorine, Bromine, Alkalinity, Total Hardness, Cyanuric Acid, Salt and Copper --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/55866241-oh-yuk-healthy-hot-tub-cleaner-16-ounces](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/55866241-oh-yuk-healthy-hot-tub-cleaner-16-ounces) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
