The forehead method yields temperatures that may be a few degrees lower than the actual body temperature, but are consistent enough so that you can compare it against another person who does not run high temperature. The in-ear method works till about 38 degrees Celsius; then it explodes to alarmist areas. At 39 degrees (as measured by a medical-grade in-ear thermometer), this thermometer showed 40 degrees and at 39.5 it showed 41.1 degrees. This caused a great deal of stress and a needless calling of an ambulance. Do yourself a favor, go to your doctor, find out which thermometer they use and get the same. ### ⭐⭐ Unreliable product *by S***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 May 2020* These thermometers are not reliable and can be dangerous as readings are misleading which can affect patient care if you are not careful.
