I have been working on laying drywall ceilings at this house for the past few weeks. Needed something for simple 9-10 foot ceilings. The lift was working at first, besides the inner arm that holds the Sheetrock, not staying in and falling off plowing us in the foot. Then then all of a sudden just two days ago, we’re using the lift to raise the drywall to the ceiling. I set the brake at the desired height. I grab my drill from off the ground, and boom, the brake just stops working and this 8ft sheet of 5/8 just comes crashing down. On top of my head. Giant knot on the top of my head, I no longer have the box as I thought I got a good product. So now I’ve got to find a box, that’s big enough to fit all of these parts in, and send it back. Honestly, just save your money, go to Home Depot and get an actual drywall lift. This product is not worth the price that you pay, if you’re going to end up with hospital bills. Not even going to waste my time returning and blowing out my back trying to get this lift in my truck. Not going to waste anymore money, or gas finding a box for this thing.
