Review: Alarm battery back up - Bought this for my alarm system as it was reasonably priced compared to to else where, as our alarm system is due to its annual and our engineer would have charged us double the price plus fitting. The battery was easy to fit and then cleared the fault code as tamper.

A: I don't think so as that is a 24v charger, I would say get the Yuasa YPC09A12MC

A: No you will kill the battery. Its a 12v Battery so use a 12v Charger unless you can regulate the power down to 12v on the 24v charger.

**Q: Which charger is suitable for y7-12**
A: A mictuning battery charger is the one I use
Input is 100v to 240v

**Q: I am intending to connect this with a solar panel 12V 15W, via a solar charger controller. Can any confirm if this battery is suitable for this panel**
A: You should speak to the manufacturer of the solar charger controller and follow there recommendations.
