This swivel seat, transfer bench has given me some independence back. I have MS (multiple sclerosis) and aside from the muscle weakness and extreme fatigue, I have bouts of vertigo. With this bench: I sit down, the seat swivels, locks securely with just a touch, then allows me to slide right across the tub into position SAFELY!
