Many years ago, Kali was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. She could only get up with a great deal of effort and DID NOT run although she was only a year or two old. We did the normal thing . . . we went to the vet and he was able to give her some relief. However, I did not like the fact that I was giving her steroids and/or NSAIDS much of the time and having her liver checked out to make sure she was handling them ok. I kept trying to find something that would work - a diet, a dietary aid, a supplement, minerals, something! Several years ago I ran across this company and product. We had nothing to lose as Kali was now several years older and she was just not doing well at all. It was winter time and she was an outdoor dog (no more, tho). I started giving her the "emergency" dose (which is 2x the normal dose). Within a few days, she was getting up easier. Within a week she was getting up on top of her crate! She hadn't even done that when she was a puppy! Within the month she was actually playing.Today, she is 16! That's pretty good for a Rottweiler without health issues! (Usually, expect 10-12 years life expectancy.) She EAGERLY wants to go for a walk every day. We walk between 1/2 to 1 mile a day. (I also have a pooch who is paralyzed in her hind quarters and she goes, too.)Now, to say she doesn't have problems would be stretching it but this product is so darn good, we would not be without it. There was a time when the company ran out of it and did not produce it for too many months! I could not help but pester them every so often as Kali was getting more and more despondent and her mobility was diminishing. FINALLY, they have it again! I'm tempted to stock up just in case there is a blip in the supply again.I cannot tell you how much we love - LOVE - this product. Thank you Vetionx vets for coming up with this. I gave Bear 1 dose the evening I received this and another the following morning. He couldn't eat the rest of the day, Refused his favorite foods. And later was unable to complete his usual walk. The next day (not giving any more) he is back to eating normally. I am guessing this must have upset his stomach.
