**Q: Will this fit my dimplex cxl n model? the heater is from 2002. thanks**
A: Yes it will Fit

**Q: The old switch disintegrated and fell into the heater The connecting wires are hanging loose. Can anyone advise where the three wires go**
A: I fitted this switch to a Dimplex storeage heater for my mum, so the wiring i describe is specific to it. So, looking at the switch as shown, i.e. with LED on the left, the wires are as follows from left to right:
1. Brown - Live
2. Purple - Switched live, i.e. LED is on when switch active
3. Blue/Black - Neutral (i think). There are two connections here on the one terminal.

**Q: For removal of the old switch, does this require taking off the front plate of the heater?**
A: Yes it does, generally the storage heater will have two screws underneath at either end, once unscrewed the front of the panel should lift upwards and outwards to be released. Once the label is released you will find the crimp connectors attached to the switch at the top right hand side, be sure to note which crimp connecters come

A: In my opinion it should. I’m pretty sure these are standard across the Dimplex storage/ convector range . I’ve changed my switch twice
