Definitely loved by all the Bluey fans in our family! It's hard plastic and very durable. It has been rolled into walls and off the top of counters a couple of times without issues. There are no very small removeable pieces. The surfboards are thin, but about 4 inches long. This toy is best for 3+ year olds just to be sure they do not put the surfboards or figurine in their mouthes.I do wish I purchased the set with the whole Bluey family and all figurines to be more fun. The doors do not open, instead the whole roof folds back, which makes it much easier to put the figurines in and out of the truck.
