It isn't a valve, it can be just unscrewed to reveal a hole - what is it?** A: That part is a double check value to stop back feed into the mains water. I believe the screw is just part of the manufacturing and nothing you have to touch, best left alone ! **Q: Sorry to bother but can't seem to find any info on the actual hose length! What is it? Thank you.** A: I haven’t got this anymore, I bought it for a job. From memory it was approximately 18 inch long. Hope this helps ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Solid and well engineered *by T***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 February 2020* Tap levers are short and clean, on/off is tight and positive, loop is long (enough to go around minor obstructions), the loop ends are an odd size being neither 15mm or 1/2 inch, but it's easy to fit. The instructions just confirm common sense. The only difficulty was removing the old loop. Each compression joint was onto a short 15mm stub so the old nuts were not free to slide back along the pipe to expose the olives. Had to cut each old nut off to expose the olives then carefully split the olives to get them off. With all the old fittings removed from the stubs fitting the new loop was a breeze. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality and effective filling loop. *by M***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 August 2020* Well made filling loop with good metal valve levers.
