The fire pit comes in a secured packaging so as not to cause any damage to the product during transit. The fire pit is extremely sturdy, durable and of brilliant quality. It looks fantastic and goes very well with the rattan furniture I have purchased recently. I am not a DIY person so was really pleased to know that the product comes in fully assembled. I wasn't really sure how the connectivity to gas would work out but was very pleased that using this fire pit was very simple and all it needed was to connect it to the gas canister. It comes with a 3m hose which is really good as I didn't prefer to keep the canister anywhere near the pit. It has a regulator to control the flame. The lava rocks are absolutely brilliant as they do not cause any smoke (actually pleased with this feature as husband is allergic to smoke). The heat from the rocks is nice, warm and just perfect.
