We've had this out on 2 shoots so far and it is working as advertised, which is all you can ask for. It is a large drive, think a little smaller than a GDrive. It is externally powered. It is quiet, as it is currently offloading 5TB of footage right next to me now. Transfer speeds are as advertised. I do really like their 3-2-1 warranty, we retire most drives after a year, and knowing during that year they will overnight a new drive if we need it is great. We have been looking for a replacement for the GDrive and Lacie family and I believe we have found it. We will be picking up more and will be trying out their other products. I'll update this review periodically as we put this drive through its paces. Review: Good bang for the buck - I ordered 2 drives. Both worked great, only gripe was that one had a noisy fan. Good value, but I probably will stick with the Lacie rugged raid drives in the future. I do like the lighter/slower Glyph drives a lot. Additionally, they are quite large and do heat up. Make sure you have adequate ventilation around them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Went from 125mb/s read/write to +700mb/s write and +2500mb/s read using a usb 3.1 cable! *by B***Y on May 15, 2020* This is blowing my mind. I've tried USB 3.1 cables with this before with no change in speed. But for a random test, I hooked up the short 3" USB 3.1 cable that came with my SS G Drive. And the speed is skyrocketing! Don't even know how it's possible. Hopefully, the vendor can shed some light on this discovery.
