The voltage of the lower cost LR/LG/AG cell chemistry falls in a straight line over the cell life and will drop below the required minimum voltage for the TI-84 when about 1/3 of its (smaller) capacity is used up. If left installed it's far more likely to leak than a battery with wristwatch rated seals. (Last letter is a W) In summary. This battery will fit into a TI-84 and function for about 1/5th as long as an SR44SW (or a SR303SW, SR357SW, SR1154SW, ... etc.) and then it's likely to leak and ruin the calculator. **Q: Does this have the "nipple" on the underside? I've found some LR44 batteries do and some don't and the ones without will NOT work in my device.** A: The ones I ordered (AG 13/357A) do have the nipple on the underside- the nipple is almost the same diameter as the battery itself- just an inth smaller. They work great and much cheaper than the ones I saw locally -- which cost more than the items they powered! **Q: Anyone use this for a Hearing applifier?
