I was looking for an inexpensive wifi speaker that I could easily connect to Alexa because I have a large room that I wanted to add another audio source to. Alexa recognizes the device because you have to connect it to your account but you cannot connect it to your network. This is just another Bluetooth speaker that just happens to have a wifi options for stuff like Spotify... you cannot actually use this as another echo. It’s just pretty garbage. I’m putting it in the guest room as an artifact. $15 sounded too good but when you look at the website, they are supposed to retail closer to $50. GET AN ECHO DOT or an actual speaker you can connect to your phone.
