I don't remember any indication of this when I ordered it. However, after putting it together - it took about 20 minutes- it proved to be an excellent product - quiet, extremely efficient and unobtrusive. Not only that, we have had it on for at least 12 hours a day, in this current heatwave without a glitch. I would be happy to order this product again although it should be ready constructed as it is a bit fiddly to put together. The reason for the lower rating is that when it was assembled it failed to work. I did put down that I would return this product but due to the hassle in finding a suitable box (original one was damaged by me when opening), returning and not living by any Post Office I decided to investigate the problem myself. I started at the controls, low and behold the problem was found to be the live wire not being connected to the control. Was an easy repair but one thing which made me chuckle was that it had a QC sticker on the base when I was putting it back together.
