Who will inherit this new Earth? The last remnants of the human race left a dying Earth, desperate to find a new home among the stars. Following in the footsteps of their ancestors, they discover the greatest treasure of the past age – a world terraformed and prepared for human life. Children of Ruin It has been waiting through the ages. Now it's time . . . Thousands of years ago, Earth’s terraforming program took to the stars. On the world they called Nod, scientists discovered alien life – but it was their mission to overwrite it with the memory of Earth. Then humanity’s great empire fell, and the program’s decisions were lost to time. Aeons later, humanity and its new spider allies detected fragmentary radio signals between the stars. They dispatched an exploration vessel, hoping to find cousins from old Earth. But those ancient terraformers woke something on Nod better left undisturbed. And it’s been waiting for them. Children of Memory They dreamed of a new home They woke to a nightmare On Imir, Captain Holt founded a new colony on an empty world. In the process, he created hope and a new future for humanity. But generations later, his descendants are struggling to survive. As harvests worsen and equipment fails, strangers appear in a town where everyone knows their neighbour. Now the inexplicable lurks in the woods and the community fears it’s being observed – that they’re not alone. They’d be right, as explorers from the stars have arrived in secret to help this lost outpost. Confident of their superior technology, and overseen by the all-knowing construct of Doctor Avrana Kern, they begin to study their long-lost cousins from Earth. Review: Space and time epic, deep but so easy to read. - I stumbled across Adrian Tchaikovsky by total fluke and I'm so glad I did! I found Children of Time in a charity shop when I had forgotten to bring a book away with me. Not even halfway through I had to get the sequels! The Children of Time series is a true sci-fi epic spread across time and space, well written, exploring themes like man's desire to play god, loyalty, distrust and what it means to be human. I've also got his Shadows of the Apt fantasy series on the go on also book. He does like to explore the relationship between man and other species, which he does so well. If you are a fan of hard sci-fi already, this is definitely a series well worth exploring, if you're not, it's a great jumping in point. Review: Three Blockbusters - Read these a few years ago but when all three come up for £12 it`s a no brainer, the incredible imagination and storytelling of A.Tch. has very few equals in the SF world. - a joy to read again. ## Features - Children Of Time Series 3 Books Collection Set Children Of Time Children Of Ruin Children Of Memory - Product Type: Abis Book - Product type:ABIS BOOK ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | 3,147 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) 1,425 in Children's Books | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 113 Reviews | ## Images ![Children of Time Series 3 Books Collection Set (Children of Time, Children of Ruin & Children of Memory) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71E7yP-V-xL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Space and time epic, deep but so easy to read. *by H***S on 28 July 2026* I stumbled across Adrian Tchaikovsky by total fluke and I'm so glad I did! I think it would have been better condensed into 2 books. I am used to reading long series (ie Chaney, Im on book 23 and still enjoying) so its not me getting bored. ## Frequently Bought Together - Children of Time Series 3 Books Collection Set (Children of Time, Children of Ruin & Children of Memory) - The Doors of Eden: An exhilarating voyage into extraordinary realities from a master of science fiction --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/560789739-children-of-time-series-3-books-collection-set-children-time](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/560789739-children-of-time-series-3-books-collection-set-children-time) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
