The marketing description of this plate is deceptive to buyers. It should be clearly stated "Palatial Silver salad/desert plates - PLASTIC" so that when somebody is buying they are fully aware from the onset.The fact that its "plastic" nature was only mentioned in the fine print buried below the page, in itself means the seller was trying to prey on buyers who will just go by what they see on the description line.I was not very pleased with receiving plastic plates when I thought these were ceramic plates.When somebody is shopping for plates, it is not like looking for a physician to have go reading long essays about the plate just to make sure that the seller is not trying to dump plastic plates and delibrately making them pass for ceramic plates.Amazon has always been the place for my online shopping, but if sellers like this are getting unsuspecting buyers tricked into buying plastic plates for ceramic, then I am beginning to wonder, if I should continue trusting my other shopping sprees on Amazon or move on to other sites.
