I've never worked with disc brakes before, and the package DOES NOT come with instructions, but installation was fairly straightforward. Calipers can easily be adjusted to avoid rubbing. I was expecting a little more stopping power from disc brakes, but they're actually the same or weaker than typical V-brake or cantilever style brakes. They do look flashy though! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ For the price, they are well worth it. Just don't expect full braking power on day one. *by C***. on Reviewed in the United States on October 27, 2016* I waited to write my review until the pads were fully bedded in (broken in to reach full stopping power.) Initially, the stopping power wasn't that great, even less than my original linear pull brakes. However, once they were bedded, they were significantly better than the linear pulls. That takes some time to happen, though. It took a few rides for me. Now, I can easily stop, even on downhills, with a single finger. These brake pads are designed for longer life and have a longer break-in period than organic ones.Build quality seems excellent. The actuator bearings have dust seals, which should keep them working smoothly for a long time. The rotors were perfectly flat and smooth. Everything was packaged very securely.As others have stated, there were no included instructions, but it's easy to find websites and YouTube videos showing how to install them. It took some time to setup, but everything is fairly straightforward. If you have post mounts, the adapters aren't needed. The calipers bolt directly to the post. They are quite adjustable and once done correctly, they don't squeal. The calipers work very smoothly. After releasing the brakes, they snap back very quickly. I can't speak to the brake handles included as I used my existing set.My only drawback was in the included rear cable. It was too short for my Haro 22" frame.My factory linear pull brakes were worn out and I couldn't get replacement parts so I needed to replace them. So, I took a chance on this set. I'm very happy I did.
