When I first found out I was pregnant I was 5 weeks roughly and had no idea what to expect as it was my first. I was stuck in that infuriating limbo period where you’re anxiously awaiting your first midwife appointment and first scan. This book is packed full of information about what to expect day to day and helped to alleviate a lot of those niggling little worries that play on our minds. Would definitely recommend the book! I just wanted to add that other reviewers mentioned the app that has as much information on. I thought I’d download it whilst I waited for the book to arrive, BIG MISTAKE. The reason why I say this is because if you’re pregnant especially with your first then we all know that we worry about every single thing. Everytime I turned to the app for information I read stories from other mums-to-be and the majority of them seemed to be about miscarriage etc. And you cannot help yourself from reading them all! I’m all for being properly informed but didn’t want to read stories that would make me even more anxious, so I deleted the app. If you do decide to go for the app then please do so with caution, and remember that everyone is different. Just because it happened to those unfortunate mums doesn’t mean it’s going to happen to you.
