I can't speak to the durability because I just received it; I might comment on that later.Others have commented on the difficulty of getting the creases out. Well, here's a tip...put the protector in the washing machine using hot water. Let it agitate and sit for a while. Drain the water out, take the protector out and hang it over the bar in your bathroom. Smooth it out while you dry it with a soft cloth. Then put it on your table! The creases will not be as pronounced and will disappear over time. If you are in a hurry to use it for entertaining, use a hair dryer to further soften the creases. Be careful not to hold it too close to the plastic.
