Marker pen might. **Q: Hi My awning got vandalised on the side. Will this be suitable to make another one with** A: Hello No not really as it will fade quickly and crack. We have a 500d fabric in navy blue which is suitable for outdoor use.I can send a sample if you send me your address. **Q: Do u sell material in approx 3 metre x 4 metre. Its to cover a large seated area. What would that cost** A: Hi Is this fabric to be used outdoors because although it is waterproof it is not intended for covering furniture etc as it will fade quickly and perish in the weather. We do sell a 500d fabric intended for outdoor use. This is £6.99 per metre and comes in navy blue, black or green. I can send samples. You would need 8 mtrs to make 3 x 4 as it is 150cm wide. We can supply you with a flat sheet 3 x 4 mtrs it would have a sewn join down the middle which can also be sealed. This would cost £55.92 for the fabric, £10 joining seam, £10 sealing seam, Hemming the fabric £10. As this fabric would need hemming you will loose approx 1/2 inch all the way around the cover so it would be 4mtrs by just short of 3 mtrs wide. Plenty of width!The fabric is very heavyweight and was a bit fiddly to work with ( I was working a complex pattern piece!) However the fabric went through my machine very easily. I'd just recommend making items of a simpler shape like BBQ or chair covers!The dog buggy has been parked out on our veranda since march 2018 and given the brilliant summer I've seen zero colour fade!! Highly waterproof and easy to wipe down if muddy.
