Review: Happy for the healthier option. - This is a nice healthier cover, and although a lot heavier than the plastic ones, it is manageable to lift and not as heavy as i thought it was going to be, so I was pleasantly suprised. Handle was already screwed on. Haven't used yet so may update this later, but happy so far. It covers our big plate nicely. The lid handle is silicone and feels good. I shopped around a lot before getting this.. it is a good size and all components are non hazardous to our health as opposed to plastic options. I have used now and it is fine.. you get used to not being so over delicate and careful with it, as it is tempered glass (I believe) and we basically are always plonking our plates down and they are much thinner. It is easier to put cover on big/full plate then put in microwave.
