I have avoided using change plates in the past by just increasing reps/sets because change plates are expensive and the cost per LB is hard to justify. However, Synergee's set of change plates is a very affordable luxury.Plate Finish: The rubber coating on these steel plates is smooth and consistent and the colors comply with IWF Olympic weightlifting standards.Barbell Fit: Each of the weights fits well on a 50mm barbell sleeve with minimal sag. The rubber coating slides easily and did not catch on my Texas Power Bar.Weight Accuracy: Each of the weights were extremely accurate with less than 1% variance of stated weight and all were of calibrated quality within 10 grams.Usability: The change plates allow you to make incremental adjustments for lighter lifts like the shoulder press. These are likely good for overcoming plateaus too.Metric vs Imperial: Weights are weights; I would prefer to purchase weights in LBs to match my other plates, but these still work well.
