My room had a basin so I could empty/rinse the urinal, and - despite drinking a lot to stay hydrated - this device meant I didn't need to leave my room at all for the 36 hours that I was most unwell. Needless to say, I was very grateful to have had this with me. It's very lightweight and therefore easy to slip into a suitcase when travelling. It looks more like a vase than a urinal. I agree with someone else who said it looks a bit like a bottle of washing detergent. It fits female anatomy well and can be used without contact or drips (the soft silicon seal around the rim is excellent). It is sufficiently capacious to empty a full bladder into.
