However, it never truly fit me correctly as I'm taller than he was so I started looking for one of my own a few months before my birthday. I'm pretty frugal clothes-wise, but will always pay up for quality rather than buy something that doesn't last. This was important when looking for a jacket as well, but I just didn't have 500 - 2k+ to spend on the higher end stuff.After searching and searching, I came across this jacket and really loved the look of it. However, because it was a maker I hadn't heard of before, I was extremely wary of ordering it and put it off. My family was looking to buy me a gift for my birthday and found out I wanted a new leather jacket. They ended up buying this one for me without letting me know - when they did I was excited but nervous that I wasn't going to like it because of poor quality/fit. I probably wouldn't have pulled the trigger if they didn't do it for me.Luckily they did! The jacket is absolutely amazing - everything I was looking for and more.Pros:- The fit is fantastic - I'm tall and thin (6' 3" x 165 lbs) and it fits just the way I like which is tailored/snug without being too tight and restrictive- It's a great weight - good for wearing over a teeshirt or layering up when it's colder out- The hood nice and thick, and looks great- The stitching and overall level of fit and finish is top notch - it should last quite a long time- The calf-skin leather is soooo super soft. It's almost impossible to find anything other than genuine leather for under 500 bucks.Cons:- One minor issue is the inside jacket breast pocket developed a hole in the bottom of it a few weeks after I bought it, but it was most likely because I had to cram a bunch of stuff inside it while out with friends and I think the keys I had in there ripped it.
