Sehr gut finde ich die rote Markierung welche einen zu engen Sitz anzeigt. Ich hatte zu Beginn meiner Beschwerden auf die Schnelle ein Produkt in einer Drogerie gekauft, welches ich (mit heutigem Wissen) wohl immer zu eng eingestellt hatte. Dazu, oder vielleicht auch daher, führte die genoppte Kunststoffpelotte bei mir zu anhaltenden unangenehmen Hautirritationen. Das hat Bauerfeind deutlich besser gelöst. Anfangs war ich skeptisch, da mir sowohl die Pelotte als auch der Gegendruck zu weich vorkamen, in Benutzung wurde ich aber direkt eines besseren belehrt. Selbst nach einem ganzen Tag körperlicher Arbeit ist diese Orthes eine deutliche Verbesserung zu meinem Vorgänger und eine große Hilfe bei der Schmerzreduktion. Dank des Stoffüberzuges ist die Hautverträglichkeit kein Thema mehr. Da ich sie täglich nutze ist die Waschbarkeit ein zusätzliches Plus. Einsatz und (Hand) Wäsche hat sie bisher sowohl funktional als auch optisch sehr gut überstanden, der Klettverschluss hält wie am ersten Tag und nichts ist ausgefressen oder fusselig. Die einzige Schwierigkeit stellt die Benutzung unter langärmeliger Bekleidung dar, da die Orthese dabei am Unterarm verrutscht. Mit ein bisschen Geschick (und Positionierungserfahrung) lässt sie sich aber auch schnell wieder an die richtige Stelle schieben. Da vermutlich alle Spangen dieser Bauart dieses "Problem" haben ist das nichts, was ich diesem Produkt anlaste. Ich hatte in dem Zusammenhang auch eine Ellenbogenbandage (mit verstellbarem Klettband) gekauft. It works because it has three plastic pressure point plastic balls about the size of the tips of your ring, middle and index finger that happen to be place right where the nerves connect to the elbow and prevent the overuse in racquetball from inflaming your elbow tendons and nerves. It is as if you had three fingers on three different pressure points versus one generic piece of plastic roughly attempting to hit multiple points, but ends up being less effective. **Q: Does any of the bauerfeind elbow straps protect both sides of the elbow? also confused which one works best for golfers elbow (inside of elbow)?** A: I have not used any that help the inside part of the elbow, but the outside of the elbow is helped tremendously for racquetball and tennis overuse symptoms. **Q: How long are you supposed to wear it?** A: For me the pain stopped in 2 weeks (I was actually thinking of giving up squash becase the pain was so bad) I kept wearing for months after as it doesn't both me and I found when I stopped wearing it, the pain came back in a month or so.
