Since it's meant to be used in a car I think there should be colors to match cars' interior such as tan, black or charcoal. It has silicone "polka dots" over the entire back of the fabric which grips to my car seat. The "hood" drapes over the headrest and that keeps the shoulder area in place. I actually didnt use the belts that are attached to it and it hasn't shifted. I bought it because I get sweaty after the gym or beach in summer and dont want to ruin my seats. It's soft and absorbent AND can be washed in the machine! The color isn't as bright as I thought it would be. It's still purple, but it isn't really bright.
