Review: I am a Klutzy, Klutzy Girl and THIS IS MY MOP! - First off, I spill everything. I own it. But I need a Good mop. No, a GREAT Mop System. This Microfiber Mop System by Microfiber Wholesale is a GREAT MOP SYSTEM. 1. I have a mid-century modern home with original hardwood floors, even in my kitchen. When I cook, load the dishwasher, walk through the kitchen... I spill water, drinks, food, you-name-it everywhere. Must have a mop at the ready at all times. Wet things cannot stay on hardwood or they will warp it and it is expensive to replace and just will not look the same as the O.G. 75 y.o. hardwood. I make my own cleaner, keep it in a handy spritzer bottle, spray the spill, and mop it up. Issue resolved, everyone is happy. :) 2. I am tall (5'8"). Most mops are made for short people for some reason. This height-adjustable mop is finally, finally one that is tall enough so I don't have to bend over and/or hurt my back. I am happy. :) 3. This mop is sturdy. I cannot even count how many of those flimsy other brand (that rhymes with "begs-to-differ") mops that I have snapped the cheap plastic head right off in my hands. And I am not strong. This baby is sturdy and lightweight. I am so, so happy. :) 3. Seems there is some confusion about how to use this. This is what I do to mop: Dampen the microfiber mop head with water (any way you like) - I don't even do this half the time, btw. Next, place the microfiber mop head on your floor and smash the handle part onto it - it sticks like magic (or velcro, same thing). I spritz my own homemade floor cleaner onto the floor, pass the beautifully wide mop over the floor, and that's it. I toss the ooky microfiber mop head into my washer with my equally gross microfiber cleaning towels, etc., and wash them. Admire the ease and beauty. We're all happy. :) To sum up the quality here: Height adjustable for anyone over 5'3". Really, really sturdy. Clean using a homemade cleanser in a spritzer bottle for less than $1 (google it, kids), so no gross mop bucket and grosser mop water (see photo) to deal with and potentially spill on yourself, it happens. Works astoundingly well to clean hardwood, ceramic, tile, laminate, etc floors. Washable, really well-made, reusable mop heads so you don't have to kill our only planet with tons of paper waste from other systems (cough, cough). I didn't even go into how you can wash your freaking WALLS with this!! Their website has video tutorials on how to loosen/tighten the height of the mop and lots of other info, including a 1-year warranty. And, most importantly, it is easy to keep handy and use on the fly to clean up spills for klutzy people so they don't feel ashamed and self-conscious about their klutziness at your next dinner party when they spill their cosmo on your white rug. I am very, very happy now. :)
Review: Well made... you get what you pay for. - I wanted a way to clean ceramic tile flooring with somewhat deep grout lines and didn't want to be on my hands and knees to do it. I ordered this microfiber mop and so far results are good. The mop head and handle are well made - not cheap. I have had many other, cheaper brands have the head disassemble/break/come apart when I press hard to get things scrubbed. This one is quite strong and you can lock the articulation of the head which is nice. The handle is long (telescoping) and quite strong and made of metal that isn't cheap or "metal looking" but really metal and plastic. Trying not to mention another brand here. The microfiber pads (2 came with) have done a good job cleaning the floor after wetting the microfiber. Pleased so far. It isn't the cheapest but I would rather buy one instead of buying and breaking a few before deciding to buy a more expensive one. I haven't used the dusting head as of yet. The attachment method for the pads/heads to the mop head are good and secure. Would recommend.

**Q: how do you get this wet usually?**
A: Alora, I normally just get this wet in the sink and use it either with just water, or sometimes, with vinegar. I then rinse and wring it by hand in the sink until the water is clean. FYI, it is recommended that when this becomes dirty enough to wash, do not wash it with cotton towels. The lint will make the microfiber less effective.

**Q: I'm sorry - I can't find the answer to this question.  Exactly how does the mop attach to the pad?  It looks like it just rests on the pad.**
A: After you wring out the mop, lay the blue side down on the floor, the white side will be facing up, place the mop head onto the white side and push lightly.  There are strips on the bottom of the mop head that act like velcro, but not as course as velcro.  The mop adheres to the mop head quickly, easily and with very little pressure.  It stays on until you pull it off, using the tab to clean the mop.  Hope this answers you question.

**Q: how do you know which replacement pads to buy.  and can you wash the dry dust pads?**
A: You get two pads and a dust pad with the mop. I washed the pads in the washing machine, I have not washed the dust pad yet, but it is sturdy and looks like it should not be a problem to wash. The regular pads are sturdy and it depends on how much you mop whether you really need replacements right away.

**Q: Is this mop good for dusting ceramic tile floors**
A: Absolutely! The included dust mop pad has two types of microfiber; looped fringe yarn to collect larger debris and dense cut microfiber in the interior of the pad to collect finer dust and dirt.

I've had this mop for about four months now, and my wife and I have cleaned our hardwood multiple times so I think I have a pretty good idea of how (really good) this thing is. I've had a few mops over the years, most recently a Cedar spray mop (piece of junk). In short, this thing rules. I have a house that is all hardwood/tile except for the stairs so I need something that is easy to use and does a great job. Since this comes with two mop heads, I use one to clean a room, swap it out for the dry one and immediately go back over the floor to dry it and the results are spectacular. I swear I just stop and look at my floors and marvel at how nice they look. We have two active indoor cats and I would have never thought they would be the main source of hardwood smudges but this product takes their paw prints off with ease. Thanks to the large size of the mop, the nice swivel action, and the easily adjustable handle, you'll be able to get great results in a pretty reasonable amount of time. We wash the mop heads separately and let them air dry and they come out really clean every time.
