It's not a leave-in conditioner, but sometimes when my hair is dry I put a little in it and it helps keep my curls curly, if I don't brush through them. It keeps my hair from going into a straight afro. I usually buy this from a hair supply store but it was cheaper online and it came with 2-16oz pckgs. A really decent size and it last about a month and a half for me and my daughter. I will say ordering online, it did spill from the package which was odd because it was sealed pretty darn good (wrapped in plastic). I've been looking at this product for a while so I decided that it was time. I mixed this with my usual conditioner (Donna's Recipe...mmm sweet potatoes). After rinsing and applying a little curl activator to my hair, I noticed that it was easier to style and the fairy knots were mostly gone! Wow! The next day I hopped in the shower and put some in my hair without conditioner to experiment. Even better. I wouldn't recommend trying it in the shower though because it does coat your skin a little bit. I can also imagine there would be a bit of a slip hazard once it runs down to the floor. But I don't regret the results at all. Oh so soft. And I finally got my hair to sweep to the side in its (mostly) natural state, instead of having to apply edge gel to achieve the same result. The sides of my head are shaved and I'm letting the top grow out so I can wear braids and locs. I wish I had a picture to show but I may do that later.
