Für den Preis wollte ich sie unbedingt ausprobieren also direkt bestellt. Wie hier schon viele geschrieben haben, muss die Farbe wirklich sehr flüssig sein. Als beim Verdünnen nicht penibel Tropfen zählen, sondern großzügig reinschütten. Ansonsten bekommt man Streifen und es funktioniert auch nicht so richtig. Danke an die Rezensionen die empfohlen haben nicht mit Wasser zu verdünnen, sondern mit Farbflussverbesserer. So behalten die Farben ihre Deckkraft und weil zumindest bei mir die Farbschicht mit dem Dotting Pen grundsätzlich deutlich dicker ist als mit dem Pinsel, braucht man auch bei hellen Farben nur diese eine Schicht. Durch die Verdünnung reichen die Farben trotzdem locker. Die Maltechnik ist anders als mit dem Pinsel, aber die Umstellung geht recht schnell. Konturen sind dann deutlich besser einzuhalten, weil sich an der Metallspitze nichts bewegt und keine Borsten abstehen. Ich habe jetzt ein ganzes Bild mit den Pens gemalt und bin vom Ergebnis begeistert. Auch große Flächen waren machbar, dauert aber etwas länger als mit dem Pinsel. Es ist toll, dass jeder Pen zwei verschieden dicke Enden hat, so geht das Malen schneller von der Hand. Und komplett auf Wasser verzichten zu können - himmlisch.
