I can't say for sure as I didn't measure but I piped caramel mousse, a drizzle of chocolate and sprinkling of walnuts. I'm guessing, that was less than an 1oz. They are sturdy enough, but volume wise, for example, 1 oz (2 tbls) of chopped salad like corn/tomato is likely the most you could fit. It is only a bite of food. **Q: Are they big enough To put a deviled egg in each one?** A: Perhaps a large or smaller egg will technical fit, but if you intend for people to pick up the spoon with a deviled egg in it – sounds awkward. If you don't intend them to handle it that way, don't use the spoons to present. It will leave your diner confused as to whether they are supposed to pick up the spoon or not.
