The MCs and the side characters were all strong progressive women. There was even a brief moment in the book where a plus-sized maid was introduced as a model to exhibit pieces from a top fashion house. Even with few lines of description, the illustrations have done a wonderful in portraying the character sketch. The characters had several layers to them. The layers slowly came off when the climax was near. Predicting how this story would end kept me in stitches. ‘Princess and the Grilled Cheese Sandwich’ is a charming story of how two different people broke barriers, and defied rules to do the right thing.
