Gute Schlauchsicherung mit einfachen Montage. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Es kommt eben auf den Verwendungszweck an, für mich völlig nutzlos! *by S***R on 11 May 2018* Diese Schlauchbruchsicherung funktioniert als Durchflussmesser. Übersteigt der Gasfluss einen bestimmten Wert (wie das bei einem Schlauchbruch ohne vorgeschalteten Druckminderer der Fall ist), schließt das Ventil. Das Ding tut also was es soll! Deshalb 5 Punkte! Aber es kommt eben auf den Verwendungszweck an. Ich habe mir das Ding aufgrund eines Weber Gasgrillumrüstungs-YouTube Videos zugelegt. Doch der Verfasser des Videos hatte keine Ahnung von der Wirkungsweise der Schlauchbruchsicherung und ich selber habe auch nicht nachgedacht und gleich gekauft. Mein Verwendungszweck ist ebenfalls das Gasgrillen. Und der notwendige und vorgeschaltete Druckregler (50 mbar) begrenzt bereits seinerseits die Gasflussmenge auf einen Wert, der unterhalb des Auslösewerts der Schlauchbruchsicherung liegt. Nach lesen der Spezifikationen war klar: das heißt, das Sicherheitsventil schließt in dieser Konfiguration niemals. Das kann man leicht selber nachprüfen, was ich gemacht hab. Die Schlauchbruchsicherung ist für meinen Verwendungszweck also völlig nutzlos (es sei denn, der Druckregler würde vor oder gleichzeitig zum Schlauchbruch seine Funktion verlieren. Von einem solchen Fall habe ich aber noch nie gehört). Ich hab das Teil wieder ausgebaut. Kein Punktabzug, da der Hersteller nichts für meine Dummheit kann. Manch anderer Rezensent ist in dieser Hinsicht unfair, die eigene Erwartungshaltung muss aber von den Produktspezifikationen abdeckbar sein. Nur so hat eine Bewertung auch Aussagekraft. Nachtrag: Mittlerweile hat ein Kommentator mich darauf hingewiesen, dass die Montageanleitung aber explizit die Montage mit vorgeschaltetem Druckregler vorsieht. Stimmt! Aber das muss dann Ereignisfall bedeuten, dass der Druckregler seinen Geist aufgibt (selbst aber dicht bleibt) und dadurch (oder eben zufällig auch) der Schlauch platzt.
