Our soap decks are made from Burmese teak, which is an extremely rot resistance wood. They are also made from a solid piece of wood. It looks awesome but is not very easy to clean. Water tends to build up around the base of the wood and does not dry as quickly compared to other similar products that have more of an air gap between the countertop and bottom of the Soapdish. there is a product on amazon that sells 2 of the ones previously described for half the price.
