They have also helped spark interest in aviation, giving the children something familiar to connect with when visiting historical air force clubs or attending live air show displays. The planes are well suited to toddlers. They are easy to handle, produce sounds, and include lights that add to the sense of realism without being overwhelming. Overall build quality feels solid for the price, and they have held up well to regular play. The main weakness is the front wheel, which acts as the trigger for the lights and sounds. This part is plastic and relatively fragile. On both planes it has broken and required repair with superglue. A more rigid design, or the use of metal in this section, would significantly improve durability. Despite this flaw, these are engaging, imaginative toys that children return to again and again. With a small design improvement, they would be excellent.
