The highest setting gets about as hot as the low setting on any other heating pad I've ever used. **Q: Does this get hot? I saw the negative review** A: Nope. Not much heat output. The highest setting is cooler than a warm setting on any other make. I spoke with the manufacturer and was told that high is 120 degrees. I used a pretty accurate food rated thermometer and HOT reached 110 degrees F.
