Review: Need to understand what 50micron wet film is like? - It is hard for me to know exactly how accurate this is in micron terms, however putting it against a flat edge and holding to the light, I can see a clear step between the teeth, which get progressively larger. Most importantly it's helped me understand wet film thickness and so will ensure I get a good finish on a very tricky paint I'm using. It's been a nightmare to use. And I'm pretty sure that despite my best efforts it's been going on too thick in places. I've thinned it down with owatrol, so now should get it right with this.
