**Q: What is the width eg 1 inch wide not length**
A: It is 1 inch in width but it stretches to go over the toe. I have cut a couple of pieces of the length.

**Q: How does it fit? Does it stretch on like a sock? Does it allow the toe to still be bent? Is it rigid in the longitudinal axis to straighten the toe?**
A: It stretches enough to fit over a toe. It stretches enough to allow a toe to be bent. It is not rigid.

**Q: Will the outside of the tube irritate adjoining toes if you walk for 6-9 miles (2-3 hours)?**
A: No it will not irritate your toes - I walk at least 2 - 3 miles per day and haven't had any [problem.

**Q: Would these relieve friction between my 1st & 2nd toes when wearing some of my thonged flip flops?**
A: I would be afraid they would fall off if you are wearing flip flops.  I use these at night to separate my one hammer toe from the others. For sandals, I buy moleskin, cut a piece, and stick it between the toes to stop the friction.  I had a toe separator pop off my toe once, and I tripped over it.  That's when I changed to sticky moleskin.  Hope this helps.
